La Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA) dio a conocer hoy la lista de todos los candidatos para la 75° edición de los Globos de Oro 2018. Estos galardones son el puntapié inicial a una temporada de reconocimientos que culmina con los premios Oscar.
El cómico Seth Meyers será quien releve a Jimmy Fallon como presentador de la gran ceremonia, que se llevará a cabo el 7 de enero en el hotel Beverly Hilton, de Los Ángeles.
“La forma del agua” (The shape of water) del mexicano Guillermo del Toro, es la película favorita para la 75° edición con siete nominaciones. Sus rivales principales serán “Los archivos del Pentágono”, de Steven Spielberg, y “Tres anuncios en las afueras”, de Martin McDonagh, que optarán a seis galardones.
Los tres filmes compiten por el premio al mejor drama, junto con “Call Me by Your Name”, de Luca Guadagnino, y “Dunkerque” de Christopher Nolan. En la categoría de mejor comedia o musical —los Globos de Oro separan los filmes en dos apartados por su género—, compiten “Déjame Salir”, “El gran showman”, “Lady Bird”, “The Disaster Artist” y “Yo, Tonya”.
La película chilena del director Sebastián Lelio “Una mujer fantástica, competirá por un Globo de Oro al mejor filme extranjero, terna en la que se encuentra con “The Square”, del sueco Robert Östlund. Las otras tres rivales son la alemana “In the Fade”, la rusa “Sin amor” y la camboyana “Se lo llevaron: recuerdos de una niña de Camboya”, dirigida por Angelina Jolie.
